Challenge

To develop a 360 campaign launching a new range of exclusive Nike trainers for Foot Locker. Our response should sit under a pre-defined umbrella concept coined the ‘Innovation trap’, which previously inspired the illustrators’ designs.


Concept
The main ‘innovation trap’ concept illustrated consumers’ constant desire to purchase the latest trends. Our response tapped into this consumerism by portraying obsessive collectors’ insatiable hunger for trainers.


Execution
We designed posters and shop window displays featuring the hero shoe in amongst a real sneakerhead collection. To support the launch, we also developed leaflets and a microsite showcasing the exclusive trainers as well as interviews with real collectors. This added an element of exciting realism to the campaign, essential when communicating with the target audience.

By combining the exclusive trainers with editorial content featuring true collectors we added an element of exciting realism to the campaign, essential when communicating with this specific target audience.
