An inspiring microsite empowering a young Russian audience to
never stop pursuing their sporting dreams.

Challenge

To introduce the Nike brand and attitude to a young Russian audience.


Concept
To use Nike as a channel encouraging young people to not let anything stop them from pursuing their sporting dreams.


Execution
In order to introduce Nike to this specific market, we decided to create a microsite that would serve both as a sports incentive platform as well as an information hub showing users where to practice various activities.

By using video interviews with iconic, Russian sports figures such as Maria Sharapova and integrating this content with a Google maps application we created a digital environment where young users could feel inspired by the content as well as inspire their peers by adding their favourite sports spots to an organically evolving map.



Results

The successful fusion of video interviews with a Google maps ap created an inspiring digital presence for the brand in a country until then alien to the Nike attitude to sports and life.
